This was the idea behind the development of the AutoClose valve for the new BBB water bottles. Just grab the bottle and drink. The AutoClose valve works similarly to the valve found in hydration packs. It allows water to flow as soon as you sip from it and is always ready for the next sip. However, no drops spray out of the bottle while riding, so your bike stays clean.
