It is a large burner, i.e. cooking chamber, and therefore needs gas. I was able to grill max 3 then a small cartridge was empty. Advantage, not heavy and does not need much space to carry 2 cartridges, but I mainly need mine when camping and therefore have a large 20kg gas bottle directly connected and grills wonderfully. Conclusion: yes, the small cartridges run out quickly

Yes, Campingaz gas cartridges with an external thread can also be used. However, depending on their size and content, these empty quickly (after about 3 barbecues). Many users therefore recommend using a hose connection to a larger gas cylinder for longer barbecuing times in order to have a better barbecuing experience. It is therefore not absolutely necessary to use a gas cartridge from Weber.

We already had this problem, the grill is not defective, it's just too cold for it. That means you have to change the gas from butane to propane. Then it worked for us.

Hello yes with external thread but unfortunately depending on the size, i.e. content, it is quickly empty. (approx. 3x grilling) since I need the grill when camping, I bought a hose connection and can now grill with the large bottle. Conclusion: Super grilling experience

Yes, that's no problem, you can screw them on and off as often as you like. It's very practical when you take the barbecue with you and fold it up.

For me, screwing on the gas cartridge didn't work right away either. The cartridge must be held absolutely straight when screwing it in. Then the thread grips and the cartridge can be screwed on securely. The grill is really great! Like my Weber Q at home. Only a little smaller and perfect for the campsite.
