Deep groove ball bearings are versatile and consist of solid outer rings, inner rings, and ball circuits. They are insensitive to operation and easy to maintain. Due to their low friction moment, deep groove ball bearings are suitable for high speeds. They are available in single-row and double-row designs, as well as open and sealed versions. Sealed deep groove ball bearings are lubricated for life. The different variants are indicated by so-called suffixes:
- Standard = no suffixes
- M = gap seal on both sides
- Y = brass cage
- 2Z = Z-shields on both sides
- 2RS = lip seals on both sides
- C3, C4 = increased internal clearance.
Special feature: Z-shields on both sides.
