The insert lock 12430 is suitable for exterior and side access doors in commercial buildings, such as administrative offices or server rooms, where unauthorized opening from the outside must be fundamentally prevented. The exterior handle is always in free-running mode. The key must be turned to the end stop in the opening direction; only then will the cam engage, allowing the door to be opened via the handle. After the key is removed, the handle switches back to free-running mode. The panic function C allows exit from the panic side at any time.
