The Upat anchor rod ASTA R is the most versatile accessory in chemical fastening. This threaded rod made of stainless steel is particularly suitable for outdoor fastening in various building materials with all injection mortar and cartridge systems from Upat. The most economical use of the anchor rod is in combination with the UKA 3 Plus cartridge. When many fastening points are processed in succession, the combination with injection mortar cartridges is more recommended. During installation with the mortar cartridge, the anchor rod is set using a rotary hammer. During the setting process, the mortar cartridge is destroyed, mixed, and activates the mortar mass. When installing with injection mortars, the threaded rod is manually pushed into the drill hole with slight twisting movements. The system with the Upat ASTA R anchor rod is particularly commonly used for fastening support feet and steel constructions.
