The K-version, shortened by 2 cm, allows for savings in drilling effort and material costs. Installation in pre-drilled and through-mounting is possible, as well as energy-saving driving with a hammer into the drill hole. When tightening the nut, the bolt pushes into the expansion clip, thus expanding against the wall of the hole and ensuring secure hold. The bolt anchor is frequently used for securing thin concrete components and applications where loads are of secondary importance.
