The Fischer distance mounting system Thermax 8 is a solution for fastening to the exterior wall without thermal bridges in the ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System). The stock screw with the fiberglass-reinforced cone self-taps through the plaster into the insulation material. During installation, the stock screw is screwed into the universal plug UX, securely anchoring it in the building material. The anti-cold cone at the head of the stock screw interrupts the thermal bridge and supports the external fastening. The Thermax can secure light loads such as lights, mailboxes, or lightning rods in concrete, aerated concrete, and masonry made of hollow and solid bricks.

Advantages: The distance mounting allows for adjustment of the attachment for precise positioning, avoiding pressure points or damage to the ETICS. The plastic cone interrupts the thermal bridge between the attachment and the internal fastening, providing an energetically optimized connection. The fiberglass-reinforced plastic cone fits snugly into the ETICS and enables easy and quick installation without special tools. The combination of the Thermax 8 with the universal plug UX ensures secure anchoring in the substrate. Without the UX plug, direct mounting in wooden substrates is also possible after pre-drilling.

Applications: For thermally separated fastening of signs, lights, mailboxes, motion detectors, downpipes, lightning rods, and blind guide rails. Functionality: The Thermax 8 is suitable for pre-insertion mounting. The self-tapping, fiberglass-reinforced cone drills directly through the plaster into the insulation during installation. The anti-cold cone reliably interrupts the thermal bridge. Installation is carried out entirely without special tools. When used in wood without plugs, the wood and plaster should be pre-drilled: Thermax 8: d0 = 14 mm, h0 = 50 mm.
